We are hard on ourselves as moms. We all have room for growth but we’re doing a better job than we realize. Learn to curb comparison and speak kindly to yourself as you tap into Christ’s endless supply of grace—available in fullest measure. Exchange an “I’m never enough” mentality for the “God is more than enough” reality as you parent from a place of peace.
The holidays can be a stressful to navigate. With good-intentions we often over-work ourselves and over-stuff our calendar as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Sometimes this try-hard mentality can trip us up as we carry it into the rest of the year — striving to pretty-up ourselves through works in an effort to be presentable to Christ. “Grace is a gift to be received not a prize to be earned” is communicated through a special invitation to receive the greatest gift of all, with no strings attached.
